Supporting Clients

Smol Law is possible because of Supporting Clients, people who pay each month to have my advice available to them.  Supporting Clients are also the heart of my practice, I want to be there to help during the big and small events in people's lives, having a stable client base committed to supporting this work allows me to focus because as much as it pains me I can't be an attorney for everyone. 

This is a mutual commitment, so I issue invitations to a limited group of people including clients I enjoyed working with and people whose work I believe in.  I also sometimes let people pass on invitations.   I don't think all clients are the same and even if this isn't the right choice for you right now, I want you to know that being here is a vote of confidence in you and in the things you are doing.

I limit supporting clients to the number of people I can give some time to each month and still have time for my other commitments and to occasionally offer more in depth assistance.  I also limit my intake each month because I need a little more time to get to know each new client.  I wish I could always be available to all the wonderful people in Washington State, but not being superhuman I know I have to have limits.  I try to be transparent about where I am on total client count and monthly counts here because I will largely close my practice once I have met my caps.  The current estimate for total clients is very low, but I do not want to add more people than I am reasonably confident I can support.

Signing up to be a personal supporting client means I hold time for you or someone you choose to have a short consultation with me every month* and that you support my availability as a community resource.

*I need to not have a professional conflict to offer this service to non-clients.

Person with a Business

Signing up to be a personal supporting client means I hold time for you to have a short consultation with me every month about issues that could include your small business as long as you are the only person who works for your company.
